1st Day of the New Year

Well, Happy New Year! Today I went to Home Depot and purchased the stuff to redo Megan's vanity, I got a Ultra Smooth mini paint roller, Zinsser primer, a big dropcloth for the garage, a set of 3 Purdy brushes which I hear are the best, Minwax stainable wood filler to fill in any scratches, 4 different types of sandpaper, and a bunch of paint chips to figure out what color I want to paint everything, I am going to use Behr interior paint, I also got some Rub on Poly to finish it with. I am excited, I am going to start filling, sanding and priming tomorrow. I also spoke with a woman from Craigslist and I am going to meet her tomorrow to get a cute couple of nightstands for both sides of Megan's bed which will also be painted the off-white color. So far I am going to do the bed, nightstands, vanity, mirror frame and curtain rod all in that off white color. I am also on the look out for a chair to go with the vanity... but no rush, my plate is pretty full right now!
